About Me
Hi I’m Megs! I am a bubbly, people-loving person, who has settled down in sunny Nelson, after many years of travelling and working overseas.
Through my travels and career in health care, I realise I love meeting, working with and learning from people of all walks of life. I love hearing about their families, loved ones, their culture and different walks of life stories.
So it was a natural progression for me to come to marriage celebrancy to meet excited couples and help them create their special day. I love weddings - how special it is to have the people you love around you while you marry your love!
I am really passionate about helping you create the day you both want. From small and quiet elopements, to huge and extravagant weddings, fancy dress or even jumping out of a plane! I will go the extra mile to give you the ceremony you want.

I love an informal chat over a wine or a coffee, where you can get a sense of my style and my personality and I can learn more about your plans. I’ll explain how this all works and you can throw all your questions at me!

When you feel comfortable and keen to lock me in – we’ll get the ball rolling with some paperwork and a Booking Fee to secure the date. Then you can sit back as I guide you through every step!

We catch up again and we start bringing to life the wedding you want.
I have lots of resources for you to get ideas from and we can shape/change/create new ideas for the day. Aside from the actual ceremony - I have been involved in a lot of weddings - so I can also help with ideas for the day that I have seen work and not work before.
Remember - there are no rules. Aside from a few legal steps - we can do it your way. -
Over to me – With all the ideas and info from you, I will create a personalised, original ceremony to fit you. You can contact me any time with changes - Remember I am the writer - but you are the Chief editor. We can have as many drafts as you want, to get you exactly what you want.

I really encourage a rehearsal, maybe the day before the wedding. It takes away a lot of the nerves about the actual wedding day and its amazing the little things that come up at rehearsals.
On your big day you just sit back and enjoy - I have your back. Nerves are normal and I will be that smiling face welcoming you both, so you can relax and enjoy the moment when you say your ‘I do’s’.
